The Cleveland Garlic Festival is the annual fundraiser for North Union Farmers Market Every year, North Union Farmers Market brings fresh and local produce to over 350,000 local shoppers. They are celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year!
The Cleveland Garlic Festival kicks off on Friday September 11th with a BBQ Birthday Bash from 6-9pm featuring garlic BBQ prepared by Chef Ashley Young, wine, beer and live music. $50
The Garlic Festival is Saturday and Sunday. There will be food vendors selling all sorts of garlic delicacies from garlic fries (my favorite!) to pulled pork sandwiches to garlic shrimp and garlic ice cream. Last year the garlic donuts were a big hit too. Make sure you stop by the Beef, Pork, Vegetarian and Chicken Top Chef Competitions for the Garlic Cook Off and the Ohio Cheese Guild Tent and Craft Brew Area.
If you bring the kids, stop by the Mighty Locavores area for lots of fun and games geared toward the little ones. You can also ride the Euclid Beach Boys Rocket Ship Car and enter the Garlic Eating Contest.
To get your tickets, click here. They are $9 per adult per day. Or to win tickets, enter below!

Truth be told, I don't really COOK with garlic. So I don't have a "favorite" recipe. But I'm Italian, so growing up garlic was like salt & pepper - it was in everything! I've never been to this fest and would love to go!
ReplyDeleteI love garlic too and use it like crazy! It's so much fun - great for kiddos too.
DeleteLooking forward to getting there again this year! It was 3 years ago when we first visited. LOVE the Garlic Festival & would LOVE to win tickets!
ReplyDeleteGarlic fries sound like a new favorite
ReplyDeleteThey are crazy good! First had them out in Cali and have been obsessed ever since. They normally have two vendors so you can have your own mini taste-off :)
DeleteWe make a marinated flank steak with chimichurri sauce that has a lot of raw garlic in it. One of my fave Sunday suppers.
ReplyDeleteOMG that sounds fabulous! If you're willing to share, I'd love the recipe.
DeleteLooking forward to our first visit
ReplyDeleteI love roasting cherry tomatoes on the grill with olive oil, garlic, and basil!
ReplyDeleteForage fries garlic cloves with rosemary on their pomme frite... right now that is my current garlic obsession.
ReplyDeleteLove my sauce with garlic!
ReplyDeleteWho needs mints?? As long as everyone is eating garlic, nobody gets "hurt"! haha
