When we travel, we like to find local gems. And we did just that with Fiddler's. Located right off 77 in Wytheville, VA, it's the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat and get a taste of the south.
Speaking of Southern food, we ordered that's exactly what we ordered South in a Sandwich and think it's a must if you pay them a visit.
It's a taste sensation of grilled sourdough bread stuffed with country ham, pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, lettuce, tomato and mayo.
They also have a fantastic buffet that's available Sunday - Wednesday for only $12.99. With Southern favorites including fried chicken, greens, mac 'n cheese and fried okra it's a delicious deal!
Another steal is the lunch special. On Tuesday's it's pulled pork and fries for $6.99.
The restaurant is decorated with fiddles and the staff is super friendly.
They are straight down 77 about 5 hours from Cleveland. It's a great spot to stop with easy on/off the highway and spotlesly clean bathrooms.
